Two's-Day

This week's Two's-Day is an entry rather than a giveaway.  I figured I'd share with you fellow mom's my anxiety of returning to work 8 weeks after having my boys.  Like many mothers around the world, I will be biding adieu to being a stay-at-home mommy and waving hello to corporate America.  While I'm excited to be surrounded by a sea of new and familiar faces, I'm saddened at the thought of not being with my sons 24/7.  I mean, look at their cute, chubby faces and YOU trying saying bye bye to them.
I am striving to maintain blogging as often as I have been given the minimal downtime I'll have after returning to work.  I love reading emails and messages from people telling me they've enjoyed reading what I write and how inspired they've been from seeing me balance so much.  I love being a twin mom and the hard work pays off, but I also love being Andrea, the singer, stylist, makeup artist and blogger.  There's something about doing all of that and being a mommy that makes me feel alive and thriving!  Nothing brings more joy to my life than using everything God has given me to its fullest potential.  I love who I am and what I've become.  Without God, this wouldn't have been possible.  He's given me a great support team made up of my families and best friend, Corey.  I'm so thankful that he has been my saving grace when I wanted to pull my hair out and go insane.  He's the reason I've been so persistent in all aspects of my life.  While my husband helps out physically, my best friend picks up where he leaves off and completes me.  So, I have 4 amazing men in my life that I couldn't live without and I thank God everyday for them.

I hope this entry finds a way into your heart and inspires you to do whatever it is that makes you feel like yourself and brings out the happiness within you.  I write this in hopes someone out there is smiling and saying to themselves, "If she can do it, I can do it!"  And, if you don't remember anything from this, remember that God won't take you out of it, but will pull you through it.  God bless you!

XOXO,
Andrea

Two's-Day

Tonight, I'm doing my first Two's-Day giveaway!  It's a reoccurring section on this blog I am dedicating to extra special things.  Some Tuesday's it'll be giveaways other Tuesday's it will be special pictures or videos.  I hope you'll come back and enter to win.

My first giveaway is for the ones who are in need of a little inspiration.  Appropriately entitled, "You Are Made For More" by Lisa Osteen Comes, this book moved me in such a way I cannot describe.  From the birth defect to the bomb to the divorce and infertility, Lisa talks about how she over came her adversities and discovered what life is really all about.  Some days it's going to be hard.  Some days it's going to be easy.  The most important thing to remember, though, is that no matter what you are facing, you are made for more.  All it takes is a few words of encouragement.

The rules for this giveaway are simple:

*Tell me one adversity you are facing today.

Leave a comment on this blog or on my video posted on my You Tube channel (www.youtube.com/andreakincaid05) I will choose a random winner and notify them via email.
Good luck and God bless!

XOXO,
Andrea

Podee Bottles

Everyone always makes the comment, "You must be busy with twins!"  Truth be told, I do stay busy, but it's not any different than having one baby.  For now, my boys don't eat at the same time every night.  Mostly, I feed, change, burp and put one to sleep before the next one wakes up and is hungry.  Once they get a tad older I will make the adjustment to feeding them simultaneously but for now this schedule works for us.  One the occasion they do wake up at the same time demanding food, I whip out my Podee Bottles.

\
These things are a life saver.  Typically, I'd prop a bottle and watch them eat but this system is so much easier and because these reduce the risks of ear aches, gas and other common problems that follow a bottle-fed baby I give this product a thumbs up.  So far, I haven't had to use them that often, but when I do, I love it!  The tag is reasonable at $16 at Babies 'R Us.  I would recommend this to any mom of multiples, but also to any mom who just wants the benefits that come along with this particular bottle.

XOXO,
Andrea
